The Basketball Warehouse’s Interlocking Sports Interlocking Flooring comes with a limited manufacturer’s warranty.

Limited Warranty
This warranty is limited to materials for a specific time period.

Warranty Periods
FLOOR TYPE WARRANTY PERIOD

  • Elastic Pro 5 years
  • Elite X 10 years

The warranty period starts from the date of the original purchase. If any flooring is found to be defective in materials or workmanship, The Basketball Warehouse will replace the defective flooring with similar or equivalent flooring as outlined below:

Warranty Restrictions
The above warranty coverage becomes null and void if the flooring is used for any purpose other than its intended use. Additionally, if the flooring is damaged due to accidents, unreasonable use, neglect, improper installation, or any other cause not related to defects in materials or workmanship, the warranty coverage is invalidated. The interlocking system is covered under the warranty unless the flooring is disassembled improperly (as per the installation instructions for proper disassembly procedure). The appearance of replacement flooring may slightly differ from the original flooring.

Warranty Service
Warranty service is available after authorization and verification by The Basketball Warehouse. Replaced flooring will become the property of The Basketball Warehouse. This warranty provides specific legal rights and may include additional rights that vary based on the jurisdiction. The Basketball Warehouse does not authorize any individual to create additional obligations or liabilities related to this flooring. To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a specific purpose are limited as detailed in this written warranty. Neither The Basketball Warehouse nor the selling dealer shall be held liable for loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss, or consequential damages.

Line Marking Warranty
The Basketball Warehouse offers a 1-year Line Marking warranty. This warranty covers issues such as line marking fade, line marking chipping, and logo fading within the first year. The Basketball Warehouse will provide touch-up painting and/or repaint line markings if the claim is deemed fair and falls within the agreed-upon 1-year period. After the initial 1 year, The Basketball Warehouse offers line marking services to existing clients. However, the line marking warranty becomes void if deliberate damage, negligence, or unreasonable use of interlocking tiles and line markings is detected.

The Basketball Warehouse Limited Lifetime Warranty for TBW Hoop Systems

This warranty against defects in material and workmanship (the Warranty) is provided by The Basketball Warehouse (TBW) in respect of the structural components of our basketball hoop products known as TBW Hoop Systems (each, for the purpose of the Warranty, a Product). Parts and accessories, such as nets and padding, are also covered by a warranty against defects for a period of one year. For the purpose of the Warranty, ‘defects’ refers to any imperfection that impairs the intended purpose of the Product, parts, or accessories.

The Warranty Period
The Warranty is a limited lifetime warranty for the structural components of the Product.

The warranty period begins on the date of the original retail purchaser’s purchase of the Product and, subject to the terms outlined below, continues:

  • For a Product: for the duration of the ownership by the original purchaser.
  • For parts and accessories: for a period of one year.

Product Installation
The Warranty applies to each Product that:

  • Has been professionally installed by or on behalf of The Basketball Warehouse; or
  • Has been installed strictly in accordance with The Basketball Warehouse’s written assembly instructions, which will be included with the Product’s packaging.

If the Product is self-installed, clear photographs of the Product’s ring anchor footing must be taken to verify correct installation based on The Basketball Warehouse’s assembly instructions. The photographs must be date-stamped for verification. The purchaser is required to retain copies of these photographs for Warranty claims. The Basketball Warehouse reserves the right to deny a Warranty claim if clear photographic evidence of correct installation is not provided.

Product Use and Maintenance
The Warranty is contingent upon using the Product for normal basketball activities and adhering to any written instructions included with the Product’s packaging.

Limitations on the Warranty
The Warranty is exclusively for the original retail purchaser of the Product. It ceases to be valid if ownership of the Product is transferred to another individual.

The Warranty does not cover replacement or repair of the Product or its parts if the defect is caused by:

  • Improper installation of the Product.
  • Inappropriate use of the Product, inconsistent with its intended purpose or any accompanying written directions.
  • Negligence in using or maintaining the Product.
  • Abuse or vandalism of the Product.
  • Alteration of the Product.
  • Fire, rusted parts, surface scratches, fading, discoloration, cracking, or normal wear and tear that doesn’t affect the intended functionality.
  • Damage is caused by natural disasters or extreme weather conditions, such as flooding, wind storms, fallen trees, or earthquakes.

Making a Warranty Claim
The Basketball Warehouse warrants that the Product, including parts and workmanship, is free from defects. If a defect is found, The Basketball Warehouse will repair or replace the defective Product or part(s) at its discretion, subject to the limitations mentioned above.

The reasonable cost of repairing or replacing defective Products or parts claimed under the Warranty will be covered by The Basketball Warehouse. In cases of returning or exchanging faulty, damaged, or inaccurately described products, The Basketball Warehouse may arrange return postage or refund reasonable postage costs upon presentation of a receipt, provided the product is indeed faulty, damaged, or inaccurately described. If, upon inspection, the Product is found not to be faulty, damaged, or inaccurately described, the purchaser may be required to cover the return postage costs.

Subject to any additional legal rights, repairing or replacing a defective Product under the Warranty is the sole remedy provided by The Basketball Warehouse. The company is not responsible for other damages, expenses, or losses incurred due to defective Products, parts, or workmanship.

For Warranty claims, the purchaser must provide the following details to The Basketball Warehouse:

  • Original retail purchaser’s receipt or proof of Product purchase.
  • A clear description of the defect(s) affecting the Product or its parts, along with available photographs.
  • If self-installed, photographs of the Product’s ring anchor footing at the time of installation.
  • Contact information, including full name, telephone number, email address, and shipping address.
